Jerusalem holds the record for new apartment sales
This is the city with the highest demand for new apartments
Despite the jump in real estate prices, the Israeli public continues to chase the dream of owning an apartment
The quantity offered of new apartments is 13,620
Demand for new apartments for purchase remains high, even in August 2022, according to LMC data.
According to the data, the quantity offered of new apartments was about 13,620 apartments, of which about 9,240 new apartments were sold, representing around 67.8% of the quantity offered.
Around a quarter of all the new apartments sold are concentrated in the cities of Jerusalem, Netanya, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Lod and Beit Shemesh. About 4.38 thousand new apartments are not for sale (32.2%), of which 75% are being built as self-construction, and of these 40.6% are in the Northern District.
17.6% of the apartments are being built for rental purposes, about a third of them in the Tel Aviv District
In the three months of June to August 2022, the quantity offered of new apartments was about 13,620 apartments
