A new city in Israel, a change on the light rail, and where will real estate soar?
The Southern District Planning and Building Committee approved a detailed plan for the new community of Nitsana on the Egyptian border, the Tel Aviv National Transport Agency and the Ministry of Transport announce improved service on the Red Line, and experts answer where will be the most expensive after the war?
This city will grow by about 8,000 residents: 1,400 new apartments on the way
Plans were approved to add 1,400 housing units in Neighborhood C in the Orot complex and the Bergman complex, together with the preservation of the historic Orot cinema and the Negev Research Institute building. Beer Sheva Mayor Rubik Danilovich: "An important and significant step to renew the old Neighborhood C in the heart of Beer Sheva's innovation district. Urban renewal together with preserving the city's history."
The plan for the Orot complex was promoted by the municipality and the urban renewal directorate within the framework of the authorities funded by the government authority for urban renewal, and was prepared by a planning team led by Darman and Rabkel Architects. At the same time as the plan was being prepared, the tenants chose Shikun Binui and the Hachshar Yishuv companies to carry out the plan. As part of the plan, 782 units will be built in the heart of the neighborhood in textured construction of up to 10 stories, combining commerce and public institutions. The plan also lays the groundwork for the renovation and preservation of the historic Orot Cinema, where the municipality is currently promoting a new design for the cinema building in order to open it to public use.
