The Har Homa Neighborhood Expands, With 476 New Apartments

The Har Homa neighborhood is expanding: 476 new apartments will be built in the southeast of the city.
The local planning and building committee this week recommended to the district committee the deposit of a new plan for the expansion of the Homat Shmuel (Har Homa) neighborhood. The plan covers an area of approximately 59 dunams, adding 476 new homes in buildings of 8 to 12 floors to the existing neighborhood.
The plan, submitted by the Israel Land Authority and prepared by the architecture firm Fisher Elhanani, also includes commercial and employment areas, public institutions, open spaces and a school. It is located on the southeastern slope of the Homat Shmuel G neighborhood, along Hanna Rachel Melodmir Street and parallel to Emmanuel Zisman Street, and connects the built urban space with the open spaces and nearby urban natural surroundings.
