New Project at 27-29 Uruguay Street

The Beit Yerushalmi Group (BY) reports that it has won a tender to advance an evacuate-and-rebuild project of 240 units at 27-29 Uruguay Street in Kiryat HaYovel, Jerusalem.
The plan proposes evacuating an old residential complex, which currently includes two adjacent railway-style buildings with 54 apartments, and building in its place a 27-floor tower and, next to it, three 10-floor buildings, with a total of 240 apartments.
The benefits for tenants include additional space for the existing apartment, a sun terrace, a storage room and a parking space registered with the Land Registry (Tabu) together with the property.
